The Zodiac Baracuda R3 Suction Swimming Pool Cleaner

The Zodiac R3 is a simple yet highly effective swimming pool cleaner.  Its light weight and simple construction (only one moving part) make it a breeze to handle and operate.

The Zodiac R3 is suitable for in-ground and above ground pools (used with large deflector wheel) up to 9m x 6m with all types of surfaces including tiles and is supplied with 10 x 1 metre lengths of hose. Perfect for rectangular, oval, round, free form, flat gentle slope, varying slope, tile, concrete, pebblecrete, quartzon, fibreglass and vinyl pools.

The R3 will clean the floor only and will pick up leaves and small debris, ideal for sand and slit.

  • Super quiet, neighbour friendly operation - Whisper quiet operation due to the Duralife Diaphragm
  • Patented Twist & Lock Hose
  • The Zodiac R3 comes with 10 x 1m lengths of Twist Lock Hose which provides a stronger connection between each length of hose and also improves water flow for more efficient cleaning
  • Rotating Wheel Deflector - This enables fluid navigation around corners, steps, ladders and drains
  • Finned Disc to reach all corners of the pool

This was a replacement cleaner and did'nt realise how bad my old one was - this is amazing and moves at such a speed araound the pool. Fantastic service - ordered at 3.30 pm on a Tuesday afternoon and it was delivered at 12 noon on the Thursday - and such a competitive price! Our local pool suppliers were quoting over £100 for the same thing ! Very pleased !

Having owned a Barracuda pool cleaner (old version of the R3 ) which gave me 15 years of good service cleaning the pool. I’m delighted with its new R3 replacement, which address one of the prior issues of it coming off the wall and landing on its back

The machine arrived on time – no problem there.
It has been in the pool for its first swim and seems to enjoy it! It appears to go faster than the old type Barracuda, and certainly picks up the dirt just fine.
So all in all, a 10/10 – well done.
