Blue Horizons Multi-Functional Stabilised Chlorine Tablets are 200 g Chlorine Tablets.

Blue Horizons Multi-Functional Stabilised Chlorine Tablets are an enhanced version of regular Chlorine Tablets as they are stabilised to minimise chlorine loss to sunlight and also contain a Clarifier and Algaecide for sparkling clear water.  These tablets are a popular Chlorine Sanitiser for outdoor swimming pools and spas.

These Blue Horizons Stabilised Multi-Functional Chlorine Tablets contain a Clarifier and Algaecide and they are designed to slowly erode over a period of 3 - 4 days, depending on the water flowing over them. As they release chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose or oxidise prior to their use to first establish some chlorine more rapidly. Ideal chlorine levels are between 1-3 mg/l (ppm) as tested by a test kit. Prior to using this product, adjust the pH levels to the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6.
 

Dose rate is normally 1 to 2 tablets (placed into the skimmer basket, floating dispenser or chlorine feeder) per 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) of water.  The number of tablets required will depend on pool usage and weather conditions. 

Chlorine Tablet Application Instructions:

• Place One tablet in the skimmer basket per 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) and adjust tablet numbers as necessary to take account of your water flow to achieve 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm) free chlorine relatively consistently.
• In a floating dispenser, fill the floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1 - 3 mg/l (ppm) desired free chlorine range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1-3 mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool while swimmers are bathing.
• In a chlorine feeder that takes this 200 g tablet, fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) free chlorine levels.

Note: As this product releases chlorine relatively slowly it may be necessary to shock dose  (oxidise) your swimming pool water prior to their use to first establish a chlorine level more rapidly.

Recommendation: It is recommended that you periodically  (e.g weekly/fortnightly) shock (oxidise) your swimming pool water using Blue Horizons Pool Fusion, Rapid Shock or Granular Shock.
