Blue Horizons Chlorine Stabiliser is a rapid dissolving products which prevents chlorine loss to sunlight. Chlorine Stabiliser is especially useful where an unstabilised chlorine product is being used. Normally added to the swimming pool water on first fill, or on emptying and refilling, or when substantial fresh water has been added after backwashing or heavy rainfall.
Ideal Stabiliser Range: 30 - 60mg/l
Application Instructions:
- Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 - 7.6. If not in this range, adjust. Test the stabiliser (cyanuric acid) level before aiming for the ideal range.
- Backwash your filter prior to application.
- Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) in warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned "on" preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution.
- Repeat dose application if necessary to achieve the ideal stabiliser range above.
